The indictments were brought Tuesday by the Islamic Republic’s military prosecutor against ““10 of the officials who had a role” in the shooting down of Ukraine International Airlines Flight PS752, Al Jazeera reported.
The flight was shot down in January 2020 by two surface-to-air missiles fired from an Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) air battery. The 10 indicted individuals were disciplined, including being fired or demoted, and are set to go on trial soon, prosecutor Gholam Abbas Torki said.
