The Israel Defense Forces demolished the homes of two Palestinian men accused of being part of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad cell that shot and killed an Israeli yeshiva student, Yehuda Dimentman, near the site of a former settlement in the northern West Bank. Two other Jewish Israelis were injured in the attack in December.

The Israeli forces came under attack from Palestinian gunmen and Palestinians throwing firebombs and rocks overnight between Monday and Tuesday while the demolitions took place, according to the IDF. One entire home was razed and a floor of a second home, where the accused terrorist lives, was destroyed.
The demolitions came hours after two Israeli Border Police guards were injured in a car ramming attack near Jenin and after a stabbing attack in the Old City of Jerusalem.
