Sheikh Mohamed’s delegation includes high-ranking officials such as Vice President and Deputy Prime Minister Mansour bin Zayed, Industry Minister Dr. Sultan Al Jaber, and Hazza bin Zayed, deputy ruler of Abu Dhabi.
According to Jordanian media, the leaders are expected to discuss bilateral relations, issues of mutual interest, the Syrian refugee and drug-trafficking crisis, and tensions in the Palestinian territories. Jordan and the UAE have strong ties, sharing many mutual interests. Jordan is particularly keen for Abu Dhabi to invest in its struggling economy, given the economic burden of approximately 1.3 million Syrian refugees in the country.
