56 Out of 120 Israeli Parliamentarians Want Yeshiva Gunman’s House Destroyed

Israel‘s Internal Security minister has been given a letter signed by 56 out of the 120 members of Israel‘s parliament demanding that the home of the gunman who killed eight students at a religious seminary last month be demolished. Minister Avi Dichter himself has agreed that tearing down the home would serve as deterrent to others, but said the decision is the prerogative of the army subject to legal proceedings. The killer was an Israeli Arab who lived in a neighborhood of east Jerusalem.
