A blast in an ammunition factory in south Yemen killed at least 5 people and wounded 58 as residents tried to steal ammunition a day after clashes between Al-Qa’ida terrorists and the army in the same town. Reuters reported that bodies were still being pulled from the rubble in the town of Jaar. Al Arabiya television put the death toll at 40. Press TV said that al-Qaieda fighters had looted the factory and seized cases of weapons loaded onto a convoy of vehicles.
