While the United Nations has raised alarms about potential shortages and famine in Gaza due to Israel’s military actions, officials from the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have provided a different perspective, asserting the absence of a famine and emphasizing the availability of substantial aid.
In a briefing, Colonel Elad Goren from the Coordination of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT) addressed concerns regarding the blockade of humanitarian aid at the Kerem Shalom Crossing. He clarified that Israel is not the cause of supply shortages in Gaza.
