Rallies in support of Hamas have popped up in cities across the United States, including Washington, Detroit, Los Angeles and in front of President-elect Barack Obama’s vacation home in Hawaii. Some protesters are alleging a pro-Israel bias on the part of the president-elect, arguing that while he has not offered an opinion on the subject of Israel’s Gaza campaign, deferring to President George W. Bush, he has weighed-in on most other issues, from the terrorist attacks in Mumbai to the economy.
