Religious and political leaders participated in a march on Saturday protesting the purchase of a former church property by Israeli residents of the West Bank. The 9-acre compound, known as Beit Al-Baraka, was allegedly purchased for right-wing Jewish residents of land Israel conquered in the 1967 war by Miami-based Irving Moskowitz, a major funder of efforts to legally purchase property in the West Bank so that Jewish ownership is not contestable. Participating in the march were the Orthodox Archbishop Atallah Hanna and Father George Awad of the Sebastian Greek Orthodox Church; and Fatah spokesman Osama Al-Qawasma.
