A roadside bomb exploded on Saturday killing two Egyptian border policemen in the northern Sinai Peninsula. The interior ministry said 16 were also wounded in the blast. The incident is the latest in a non-stop series of explosions and attacks by groups linked to the Islamic State and supporters of overthrown president Mohammed Morsi, leader of the Muslim Brotherhood. Since his removal from the presidency to which he was elected in a democratic election, supporters of Morsi have killed hundreds of Egyptian security personnel. Thousands of Islamists have also been killed.
