Australia to Change Rules to Ease Extradition of Alleged Terror Funders

It will soon be easier for Australia to extradite two men to Lebanon in connection with a terror attack on a McDonalds restaurant several months ago, according to media reports.

Justice Minister Chris Ellison told reporters he intends altering extradition rules to allow brothers Bilal and Mahir Khazal to be sent to Lebanon for trial.

Neither man has been arrested for links to terrorism in Australia.

However, it is claimed they helped fund the terror attack, in which four people were injured.

Bilal is a former baggage handler for the Australian national carrier Qantas.
