Israeli woman’s murder believed to be terror

Ariela Fahima, a 39-year-old Israeli woman, was murdered on Tuesday in the community of Nehusha, west of the Green Line. Security forces believe her murder was committed by a terrorist who came from the Palestinian territories.

The murderer has not yet been found, and the police say there could be more than one perpetrator. Fahima was attacked outside her home, and her throat was slit. The act of terror was made easier by the fact that an electronic fence around the community was not working due to a malfunction.

No terror organization has yet claimed responsibility.

“The police were notified in the afternoon, that a child found her mother lying near her home. When the police arrived, the mother was already dead,” announced Police Chief of Beit Shemesh, Meir Barafi.

The security forces still have a series of warnings about terrorists who plan to conduct attacks. One of the possibilities being taken into consideration is another a stabbing attack.
