Delta variant is 83% of US cases, CDC says
The delta variant of the coronavirus accounts for some 83% of cases in the US, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Dr. Rochelle Walensky, director of the CDC, called vaccination the best way to prevent the spread of the virus, during a U.S. Senate hearing Tuesday.
