Israelis to begin receiving Moderna vaccine
Israelis over the age of 18 who are receiving a coronavirus vaccine shot will receive the Moderna vaccine, the Health Ministry told the country’s four health maintenance organizations on Wednesday. The Moderna vaccine will be administered beginning on August 1, a day after most of Israel’s stock of Pfizer vaccines is due to expire. Anyone getting a second shot or those 12- to 18-years old will continue to receive the Pfizer vaccine.
