29 Gaza Children Taken to Jordan for Treatment as Aid Efforts Expand
Jordan has begun evacuating injured children from Gaza for medical treatment, with the first group of 29 arriving in the country on Tuesday. The evacuation is part of a larger plan to provide care for 2,000 children in Jordanian hospitals, coordinated by the Jordanian Armed Forces, the World Health Organization, and the Health Ministry.
Brig. Gen. Mustafa Al-Hiyari, Military Media Director, announced during a press conference that four of the children were airlifted by helicopters from the Royal Jordanian Air Force via Marka Military Airport, while the remaining 25 were transported in ambulances across the King Hussein Bridge, also known as the Allenby Bridge.
