2nd-generation COVID vaccines arrive in Israel
A shipment of second-generation coronavirus vaccines designed to fight the new variants has arrived in Israel, coronavirus czar Professor Salman Zarka announced on Wednesday. The vaccines will be available in Israeli health clinics in two weeks, according to Zarka. He did not say whether they would be made available to the general public or first to groups such as the elderly. Zarka called on Israelis to get vaccinated ahead of the winter, citing a rise in coronavirus infections showing that the virus is spreading.
