Delta variant will become dominant strain, WHO says

The delta variant of the coronavirus has shown up in at least 124 territories, which is 13 more than last week, according to the World Health Organization. The variant accounts for at least 75% of cases in many countries, the WHO said. The delta variant is expected to soon become the dominant strain of the virus.
