Iran’s Rouhani downplays pandemic’s economic impact

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani on Monday downplayed the impact to Iran’s economy from the novel coronavirus, saying his administration’s “power” had helped the country through the crisis. According to a report on Radio Farda, Rouhani insisted that Iran’s economy had shrunk by only 3%.
