Jordan reports 38 new cases over weekend

A total of 38 new coronavirus cases were reported in Jordan over the weekend after no new cases were reported for eight straight days. Jordan said on Sunday that all economic restrictions had been lifted as part of the easing of coronavirus lockdown rules. As of Sunday, the total number of infections in Jordan stood at 522 with nine deaths, according to the Johns Hopkins coronavirus tracker.
