Jordan’s health minister fired after 7 die from oxygen shortage
Jordan’s health minister was fired on Saturday after seven people hospitalized with the coronavirus died when several wards ran out of oxygen for about an hour, Reuters reported. The new Salt government hospital located west of Amman opened in August. Jordanian Prime Minister Bisher al Khaswaneh offered a public apology for the “gross mistake” and said that he had fired Health Minister Nathir Obeidat.
