More European countries begin vaccination programs

Hungary began its vaccine program against the coronavirus on Saturday with inoculations first going to frontline hospital workers. Other European countries are rolling out their vaccine programs on Sunday with France, Germany, Italy, Austria, Portugal and Spain beginning mass vaccinations of their populations. In Germany, trucks began delivering vaccine doses to older adult facilities, according to reports, while in France mass inoculations are expected in the greater Paris area and the Burgundy-Franche-Comte region. In recent weeks, vaccination programs using the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccination also have started in Britain, Switzerland and Serbia.
