The northern region of Denmark went into lockdown Friday after a COVID-19 mutation was found to have infected minks being farmed for their fur, leading to the slaughter of millions of the animals. The World Health Organization said that six countries had reported coronavirus in farmed mink, threatening the effectiveness of any potential coronavirus vaccine.
