Bahrain Tells Citizens To Leave Iraq

Bahrain on Tuesday urged its citizens in Iraq to immediately leave and said those planning to travel to Iraq should postpone their plans, amid the ongoing clashes and deteriorating political situation there. The Bahraini Foreign Ministry also announced the setting up of emergency hotlines for its citizens in Iraq. Violence erupted Monday in the Iraqi capital of Baghdad, killing at least 30 people and injuring around 600 others, after Shiite cleric Muqtada al-Sadr announced he would quit politics.
