Hamas Claims Deaths of Kidnapped Bibas Family; IDF Investigating

Hamas’ armed wing, Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, announced on Wednesday that Shiri, Kfir, and Ariel Bibas, who were kidnapped on October 7, were killed in an Israeli airstrike before the current truce. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) is urgently investigating the claim to verify its credibility.

The military is currently providing support to the Bibas family, who have been informed of the claim. The IDF emphasized that Hamas bears full responsibility for the safety of all hostages, including nine children, in the Gaza Strip.
