Saleh al-Arouri, Hamas’ deputy chief, expressed his discontent in a press statement, declaring, “The world knows the US’s biased stance, and we place no reliance on it.”
Al-Arouri’s remarks followed a phone call between US President Joe Biden and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, where President Biden reiterated America’s unwavering support for Israel’s right to self-defense.
