In a message posted on Twitter, the military said the strikes targeted “an underground complex containing raw materials used for the manufacturing of rockets belonging to the Hamas terrorist organization.”

We report with just one agenda: the truth.

The message said that the IDF “holds Hamas responsible for all terrorist activity emanating from Gaza and it will face the consequences of the security violations against Israel.”
A short time after the strike, four rockets were fired at southern Israel, sending residents of Sderot, Kibbutz Nir Am and Kibbutz Ruhama scrambling for their shelters at a little after 4 a.m. The IDF missile defense system intercepted three of the four rockets and the fourth fell in an open area.
The IDF then fired on Hamas observation posts close to the Israel-Gaza border, the local media reported.
