Istanbul Hosts 27th Eurasian Economic Summit To Forge Path From Crisis to Stability

The 27th Eurasian Economic Summit began in Istanbul, Turkey, on Wednesday, focusing on global growth challenges. Under the theme “From Crises to Stability, Building an Inclusive World,” the summit, organized by the Marmara Group Strategic and Social Research Foundation, is tackling issues such as peace, climate change, water supply, and artificial intelligence. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev both underscored the summit’s significance in fostering regional cooperation and addressing the economic impacts of global conflicts. Akkan Suver, the foundation’s head, urged increased international dialogue and cooperation to navigate the current global turmoil. Highlighting the Belt and Road Initiative as a potential peace and unity framework, the summit has drawn over 300 attendees from around 40 countries, including political leaders, diplomats, academics, and business executives, to discuss and devise solutions for pressing global issues.
