Milei, Netanyahu Discuss Terrorism and Joint Ventures in Jerusalem Meeting

During a Wednesday morning meeting at the Prime Minister’s Office in Jerusalem, Argentine President Javier Milei informed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Argentina’s intention to declare Hamas a terrorist organization. Netanyahu expressed gratitude for Milei’s “stalwart support” for Israel’s right to self-defense. The two leaders also agreed to initiate joint business delegations across various sectors.

The Israeli delegation included top officials such as the strategic affairs minister and the National Security Council director. The Argentine team was led by the foreign minister and the ambassador to Israel, underscoring the deepening bilateral relations between the two nations.

In October, Argentina’s foreign minister reported that 21 people with Argentinian citizenship were among the hostages taken by Hamas on Oct 7. – including the Bibas family, who are still in captivity.
