Tens of Thousands Demonstrate Against Netanyahu
More than 20,000 people demonstrated in front of the official residence of Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu on Balfour Street in Jerusalem. It was the largest protest since the weekly anti-Netanyahu demonstrations began in July. The demonstrators marched from the Knesset to Paris Square on Saturday night.
The Black Flag Movement, which organized the protest march, said there were 50,000 people protesting in the streets of Jerusalem. The protest comes just ahead of Israel’s fourth election in two years.
