‘Earth Cancer’ Theme of Sulaimaniya Film Festival (Iraq)

Sulaimaniya, IRAQ] — This year, 120 films representing more than 75 countries will be screened at the Sulaimaniya Film Festival. The city in the Kurdistan region of Iraq is showing films from Germany, France, Lebanon, Turkey, Iran and Iraq at its prestigious event, opening with SISTERS IN ARMS, a film about Kurdish women from around the world fighting the Islamic State (ISIS).

The festival runs through October 7, 2019.
