The management and staff of The Media Line wish a very happy Thanksgiving to our readers, viewers and listeners.

As we prepare to enter a new year a month from now, we look back on one of history’s most challenging periods – from struggling to survive COVID-19’s physical threats, to navigating societal shifts and, in particular, to dealing with assaults on the well-established tenets of journalism that conflate reporting the news with asserting personal political demands.

And not to be overlooked, the soaring costs of paying for the privilege of providing trustworthy reporting in an environment whose only agenda is truth.
