Berdimuhamedow praised the strong relationship between the two countries and described his earlier discussions with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian as “good and constructive.” According to a statement from Khamenei’s office, the meeting resulted in the signing of several cooperation agreements.
Key agreements include a two-year cooperation plan between the foreign ministries of Iran and Turkmenistan and an expanded partnership in the natural gas sector, which both leaders believe will further strengthen their nations’ ties.
