Iranian Intelligence Agents Placed on European Terror List

The European Union has placed a unit of the Iranian Intelligence Ministry and two of its employees on the EU terrorist list because of its involvement in assassination plots on European territory. France and Denmark have each reported thwarting such plots and assert that there is no doubt the Iranians were responsible. Assets of those involved are being frozen in European Union countries even though Tehran claims the charges are untrue and were made in an attempt to drive a wedge in Iran’s relationship with the EU.
