Iranian Naval Commander Vows To Expel US Aircraft Carriers From Region
Iran’s top naval commander, Shahram Irani, announced on Monday that the Iranian Navy planned to expel US aircraft carriers from the region. Irani criticized the presence of US military forces, including the recent deployment of the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower, at a national conference in Tehran.
Irani accused the US carriers of inciting sedition in the region and said Iran would no longer succumb to pressure. “We will soon expel them from the region. We will no longer be pressured and can exercise influence,” Irani declared.
