Iran’s Supreme Leader Urges Islamic Unity To Counter US Interference
In a bid to thwart what he decries as US “plunder, bullying, and interference” in West Asia and North Africa, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei called for greater unity among Islamic nations in the region. The leader emphasized that the United States has been inflicting political and economic hardships on regional countries, including the alleged theft of Syria’s oil and meddling in their internal affairs.
Khamenei stressed that the key to repelling foreign interference lies in solidarity among Islamic nations, particularly those in the region, who should adopt a united stance on critical issues. He asserted that this collective approach would deter external powers from meddling in their domestic affairs and shaping their foreign policies.
“While we have consistently advocated against war and military action, the call for unity is aimed at preventing US warmongering,” Khamenei reiterated.
