The 26 ministers offered their resignations during a cabinet meeting, signaling changes to come in what will be Khasawneh’s seventh reshuffle since taking office.

Khasawneh, appointed by King Abdullah II, took the reins of the Jordanian government on October 7, 2020, succeeding former Prime Minister Omar Razzaz.
