Russian President Vladimir Putin visited the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia on Wednesday to discuss various issues of mutual interest. In Abu Dhabi, Putin and UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan explored ways to enhance their strategic partnership, as reported by the UAE’s official news agency, WAM. The leaders called for international action to establish a ceasefire in Gaza, protect civilians, and ensure consistent humanitarian aid delivery.
The discussions also encompassed the Ukraine crisis, with the UAE president affirming his country’s commitment to resolving conflicts through diplomacy. Later, in Riyadh, Putin met with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. The crown prince highlighted the collaborative efforts between Saudi Arabia and Russia to stabilize the Middle East.
