About this event
Ambassador Gilad Erdan currently serves in the dual role of Ambassador to the United States and United Nations. He presented his credentials to the UN in August 2020, becoming Ambassador to the U.S. in January 2021. Prior to assuming his diplomatic responsibilities, Ambassador Erdan served 17 years in the Knesset and held key ministerial positions in government. His cabinet portfolios included minister of strategic affairs, minister of public security; minister of communications; and minister of environmental protection.
