Agam Berger Handed Over to the Red Cross After 482 Days of Captivity
The Israeli hostage Agam Berger has been handed over to the Red Cross in the northern Gazan city of Jabalia after 15 months in Hamas captivity. Before her release, Berger, 20, was made to stand on a stage strewn with Palestinian and Hamas flags for a handover ceremony. Dressed in a makeshift olive green uniform and holding a certificate with Arabic writing on it, Berger waved at the crowd of Gazans before entering the Red Cross vehicle.

Truth and understanding
The Media Line's intrepid correspondents are in Israel, Gaza, Lebanon, Syria and Pakistan providing first-person reporting.
They all said they cover it.
We see it.
We report with just one agenda: the truth.
On October 7, 2023, Berger was abducted from a military post in southern Israel’s Nahal Oz, where she was serving as a field observer. Fifteen surveillance soldiers at the post were killed in Hamas’ attack that day, and a total of seven were taken hostage. Of the seven taken hostage, one was rescued by the Israeli military, the body of one was recovered, and four were released by Hamas on Saturday.
Berger is expected to be handed over to Israeli forces shortly and reunited with her family. She will then be brought to Beilinson Hospital in Petah Tikva, where the four field observers released on Saturday are currently waiting for her. According to reports on social media, the four young women insisted on staying at the hospital until their sister in arms’ arrival.
