Iran, Venezuela Strengthen Diplomatic Ties With Continued Cooperation
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and Venezuelan Foreign Minister Yván Gil Pinto discussed ways to strengthen bilateral ties during a phone conversation on Saturday. Both ministers reaffirmed their countries’ commitment to deepening cooperation and continuing dialogue at the highest levels, according to a statement from Iran’s Foreign Ministry.
Araghchi stressed Venezuela’s importance in Iran’s foreign policy and emphasized Iran’s strategic focus on Latin America, particularly Venezuela. He also condemned any foreign interference in Venezuela’s domestic affairs, reiterating Tehran’s stance of nonintervention.

Gil Pinto expressed confidence that the leadership of both nations would work to implement the bilateral agreements and cooperation documents already in place. He affirmed Venezuela’s intent to sustain its collaborative relationship with Iran and address key issues concerning their mutual interests.
Both ministers expressed enthusiasm for the exchange of high-level delegations and identified areas where their countries could further cooperate.
