Israeli Airstrike on Gaza School Kills 15, West Bank Strikes Leave 9 Dead
An Israeli airstrike targeted a school sheltering displaced persons in Gaza City on Saturday, resulting in the deaths of at least 15 Palestinians, according to Hamas-run government media. This attack followed two earlier strikes in the West Bank that killed nine individuals, including a local Hamas commander.
The Israeli military stated that the first airstrike in the West Bank targeted a vehicle near Tulkarm, allegedly carrying a group planning an attack. Among those killed was a commander from Hamas’s Tulkarm brigades, while Islamic Jihad claimed responsibility for the others. A second airstrike in the area later targeted another group, which the Israeli military claimed had fired on their troops.

Truth and understanding
The Media Line's intrepid correspondents are in Israel, Gaza, Lebanon, Syria and Pakistan providing first-person reporting.
They all said they cover it.
We see it.
We report with just one agenda: the truth.

The violence in the West Bank, already on the rise before the current Israel-Hamas war, has escalated further with frequent Israeli raids. This is accompanied by an increase in anti-Israeli attacks by Palestinians.
Meanwhile, the US and its international partners, including France, Britain, Italy, and Egypt, are engaged in diplomatic efforts to prevent a broader regional escalation as tensions with Iran and Hezbollah rise.
In the Gaza Strip, the airstrike on the school in Gaza City’s Sheikh Radwan neighborhood came as part of Israel’s ongoing military campaign. The Israeli military claims the school was being used as a command center by Hamas, a charge that Hamas denies. Earlier on Saturday, Israeli strikes in the enclave killed eight more people, including six in Rafah and two in Gaza City.
