Israeli Missiles Hit Syrian Military Targets; 2 Dead, 6 Injured
Two Israeli missile strikes on Syrian military targets took place on Wednesday, the first striking the coastal city of Tartous, killing two and injuring six soldiers, and the second hitting the central Hama region, causing only material damage according to Syrian state media.
The attacks took place from Lebanese airspace and are only the latest in a long series of Israeli strikes to combat the alleged military entrenchment of Iran and Lebanese terror group Hizbullah within Syria.

Truth and understanding
The Media Line's intrepid correspondents are in Israel, Gaza, Lebanon, Syria and Pakistan providing first-person reporting.
They all said they cover it.
We see it.
We report with just one agenda: the truth.
An alternative media source reported that the strike targeted a military base in southern Hama as well as the Shuairat military airport. The base is central for the Russian military, which provides aid to Syrian Bashar Assad’s brutal crackdown on opposition fighters in the ongoing Syrian civil war.
In addition, Tartous is the site of the Russian Navy’s Mediterranean base where its warships are docked. Russian aid has been crucial to Assad in the conflict.
