Palestinian Man Sentenced to Life in Prison for Murdering Israeli Woman
A military court in the West Bank on Sunday sentenced a Palestinian man to life in prison for the murder of Esther Horgen, a 52-year-old mother of 6 from the Tal Menashe settlement, in the Reihan Forest where she was jogging. Mohammad Maroh Kabaha, who entered Israel through a hole in the West Bank security fence, confessed to the December 20, 2020 murder, in which he smashed Horgen’s head with a rock.

Kabha was fined $1 million in addition to the life sentence. He was convicted in October 2021.
