Saudi King Leaves Hospital Following Medical Tests

Saudi Arabia’s King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud left the hospital on Sunday following medical tests. King Salman was discharged on Sunday from King Faisal Specialist Hospital in Jeddah a week after recovering from a colonoscopy and after undergoing medical exams. Salman had been ordered to remain at the hospital for a rest after the procedures.

The king “extended his thanks to and appreciation of all males and females of the people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for their kind feelings and blessings. He also extended his appreciation of whoever contacted him or sent his wishes of health to him, including Their Majesties, Excellencies, Highnesses, the leaders of Arab, Islamic and friendly countries,” according to the Saudi Press Agency.
