This year, the message of Passover carries deep and painful resonance. Fifty-nine hostages remain in Gaza, including 24 believed to be alive, taken during Hamas’ October 7, 2023 attack on southern Israel. Their captivity is a daily reminder that freedom is fragile and that it must be fought for—not only in memory but in action.
