RSF Attack on Sudanese Village Leaves 11 Dead, Dozens Injured
At least 11 people were killed and 18 injured in an attack by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) on Al Hodur village in central Sudan’s Gezira State on Sunday, the Sudanese Doctors Network, a nongovernmental organization, reported. The RSF reportedly looted the village’s health center and several homes, with children among the casualties.
Separately, the volunteer group Nidaa Al-Wasat Platform reported that more than 300 people have died in Al Hilaliya city, which has been under siege for over 17 days. “More than 300 civilians, including children, the elderly, and the sick, were killed by terrorist gangs who forced them to die without mercy,” the group stated. The RSF has not yet commented on these allegations.

Truth and understanding
The Media Line's intrepid correspondents are in Israel, Gaza, Lebanon, Syria and Pakistan providing first-person reporting.
They all said they cover it.
We see it.
We report with just one agenda: the truth.

Local activists and volunteer groups claim that the RSF initiated attacks across eastern Gezira after its regional commander, Abu Aqla Keikel, surrendered to the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) on October 20.
The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs reported that approximately 135,400 people have been displaced across Gezira State since October 20 due to heightened violence affecting over 30 villages and towns.
Sudan has been embroiled in conflict between the SAF and RSF since April 2023, with the Armed Conflict Location and Event Data Project estimating that more than 24,850 lives have been lost as of mid-October.
