A Webinar Event exploring the creation of sustainable construction/design contracts in Egypt.
About this event
The subject for this webinar session will focus on introducing the concept of sustainable contracts in Egypt and provide case studies alongside sample incentive clauses for sustainable development. The objective is to increase awareness and awaken the construction community to sustainability in Egypt, and how to motivate further increases in practice through incentives.
Additionally, within this session, our guest speaker will be opening the discourse to talk about identifying what are the challenges of sustainability in Egypt going forward, and what the long-term benefits are of taking imminent action.
Our Speaker
Ziad Abdeen is a Construction Engineer with a minor in Business from the American University in Cairo. His expertise revolves around project management, contract management, and risk management in several companies such as Hill International, Solid Constructions, and the latest of whom, ASGC. Moreover, he is a published co-author in the Canadian Society of Civil Engineering with his paper “Exploring Potential Building Materials For Planet Mars.”
