Dutch-Moroccan-Egyptian Model on Vogue Italia’s July Cover

Dutch-Moroccan-Egyptian model Imaan Hammam is on one of the three different covers of Vogue Italia’s DNA-themed July issue that focuses on identity and genetics. “A dream come true! My first ever Vogue Italia cover and it’s a very, very special cover for me because it’s all about DNA. I’ve done my DNA test to find out more about my roots and heritage! Finding out that I am 70% Egyptian — which I kinda knew — and 10% Sudanese and 7.6% Senegambian and Guinean,” Hammam writes on her Instagram page, accompanying a shot of her magazine cover. American-Palestinian model Gigi Hadid was also photographed for one of the three covers.
