Friends Forever International Conversation Series: Ali Abu Awwad
Friends Forever International hosts monthly education nights at our headquarters, 1 Morgan Way, Durham New Hampshire 03824. Our Conversation Series is designed to further engage local community members, informing them of the current state of affairs in the international community, introducing them to local artists and organizations, and more.
Ali Abu Awwad is a leading peace activist and a leader of several peace-building initiatives, including the Taghyeer (Change) Palestinian Nonviolence Movement and the Karama Center. His life and work have been featured in two award-winning films, Encounter Point and Forbidden Childhood.
Abu Awwad will be the guest speaker at the next Friends Forever International Conversation Series, on Wednesday, January 29, 2020, from 5 to 6:30 pm.
