Holy Fire descends to Church of Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem
Eastern Orthodox Christians marked the Holy Fire ceremony on April 27 at Jerusalem’s Church of the Holy Sepulchre. These Christians believe that the Holy Fire, which emanates from within the Tomb of Christ, spontaneously lights other lamps and candles around the church, reaching even foreign countries. The fire represents the flame of the resurrection power.
