NGO Report Highlights Human Rights Violations in Syria

The Washington-based Syria Justice and Accountability Centre recently released a report based on an analysis of 5,000 pages of documents obtained from intelligence agency offices that were abandoned by the Syrian government during the ongoing civil war. The analyzed documents reveal the decision-making processes of the Syrian intelligence agencies, exposing serious human rights violations and the extent to which these agencies permeate through every aspect of Syrian life.
